Conditions for IEFF Festivals

International Ethnic Folklore Festivals are celebrated across India, Vietnam, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Mexico and in Nepal showcasing rich cultural traditions.With its scale, color, and international flair, the festival stands as a flagship cultural extravaganza—igniting cross-cultural dialogue, captivating audiences, and celebrating the living spirit of global folklore.

The festival promises a spectacular celebration of cultural vibrancy, featuring 5–7 outstanding international dance and music ensembles alongside more than 30 dynamic national ensembles. Showcasing the rich cultural diversity of the host country, staged at the country’s largest grounds and most prestigious auditoriums, the festival is set to draw massive crowds, welcoming more than 2,000 enthusiastic patrons.

IEFF celebrates the glory of world performing arts under the powerful theme “Let’s Dance for World Peace,” bringing cultures together through rhythm, movement, and music. Alongside its artistic vision, the festival proudly promotes the host country’s tourism, offering global audiences a vibrant glimpse into its heritage, landscapes, and cultural richness. By uniting international and national performers on one stage, IEFF becomes a dynamic platform for cultural harmony, artistic exchange, and meaningful global connection.

Group Selection : The Festival Organizer will carefully select 5–7 outstanding dance and music groups of exceptional artistic quality, representing diverse cultures from around the world.

Styles : Welcomes performances in Folklore, Choir, Majorette, and Orchestra styles.

Optional Styles : Theatre, Classical, Contemporary, Latin, Ballroom, and Oriental performances are also accepted.

Age Criteria: : Participants may range from 7 years to 70+ years of age.

Group Size : Each group must consist of a minimum of 5 participants, with no upper limit on the number of members.

Music : Groups may perform using either live music or recorded tracks.

Travel : Round-trip airfare and travel health insurance covering medical treatment and accidental emergencies must be arranged and covered by the participating groups.

Accommodation : Groups must choose a 3★ or 4★ hotel package from the options listed in the application form.

Performance : Each group is required to present three distinct dance forms or musical pieces, with a duration of 10–15 minutes each. Performances may be scheduled once or twice per day at designated venues, and different costumes must be used for each presentation.

Workshops & Parade Participation : Each group must exchange one or two workshops during the festival and actively participate in parades or roadshows in full costume with musical instruments.

Competition Eligibility : The competition is open to Folk, choir, Majorette & Orchestras. Participation is open exclusively to registered festival participants with an additional entry fee.

Categories : Solo - Quardet and Groups.

Group Size : Group performances must include a minimum of 5 -20 members.

Age Criteria : Participants may range from 7 years to 70+ years of age.

Music : Groups may perform using either live music or recorded tracks.

Performance Duration : Groups: 5–6 minutes || Solo-quardet : 2.5–3 minutes.

Competition Participation Fees :

  • Group Category: €60
  • Solo: €25, Duet: €30, Trio: €35, Quardet: €40.

Winners & Cash Prizes :

  • Group Category: €250, €100, and €50, along with trophies and diplomas
  • Solo / Duet / Trio Categories: €100 and €50, along with trophies and diplomas

Jury & Evaluation : Performances will be judged by a panel of three professional jurors in accordance with official regulations, and their decision will be final. At the jury’s discretion, additional Silver and Bronze Medals with diplomas may be awarded for outstanding choreography and costumes.

Performance Venues : Venues may include open-air stages, halls, auditoriums, parades along the central streets of the festival city, and scenic locations without specialized stage facilities or lighting equipment.

Rehearsals & Program Participation : Groups must attend all rehearsals on time and participate in every scheduled program. No cancellations are permitted during the festival period.

Cultural Exchange Gifts : Groups are required to bring two national flags of their country and three to four gifts for cultural exchange purposes.

Code of Conduct : Smoking and alcohol consumption are strictly prohibited at performance venues and on festival transportation. Any behavior—rude, unprofessional, or harmful to the festival—is strictly forbidden. The festival reserves the right to make decisions in unforeseen situations not explicitly covered in these conditions.

Program Changes : The organizers reserve the right to modify the program schedule at any time.

Security & Official Invitation: The organizers are responsible for the safety and security of international groups from arrival to departure. Groups will be received at the host country’s international airport upon arrival and escorted to the airport boarding area upon departure. If organizers find that a group engages in other activities conflicting with the official festival invitation, the invitation may be canceled immediately.

Media & Copyright : The festival reserves the right to record, broadcast, and reproduce performances via radio, TV, or video without payment of any honorarium. The organizing committee may also modify the program schedule at any time during the festival.
